Eine volle Fotomediathek ist auf einmal kaum zu überblicken. One Day After Another zerlegt sie in handliche Portionen: Ein Kalendertag, alle Aufnahmen aus allen Jahren. Du startest mit dem heutigen Datum oder blickst auf vergangene Tage zurück, findest vergessene Momente wieder und entscheidest in Ruhe, was bleiben soll. So wird aus dem Aufräumen eine kleine tägliche Reise durch deine Erinnerungen. A full photo library is hard to take in all at once. One Day After Another breaks it into bite-sized pieces: one calendar day, every picture from every year. Start with today or look back at past days, rediscover forgotten moments and decide at your own pace what to keep. Decluttering becomes a small daily trip through your memories.

Funktionen Features

Ein Tag, alle Jahre: Fotos und Videos desselben Kalendertags aus allen Aufnahmejahren in einer Liste – mit Jahresabstand und Aufnahmezeit.
Übersicht mit Mosaiken: Heute, die letzten Tage und drei kommende Tage als Karten mit kleinen Bildvorschauen und Anzahl. Der Rückblick lässt sich auf bis zu 365 Tage erweitern.
Mit einem Wisch sortieren: Nach links markiert eine Aufnahme zum Löschen, nach rechts öffnet das Teilen. Vor dem Löschen prüfst und bestätigst du deine Auswahl.
Ähnliche Aufnahmen erkennen: Serienbilder und Beinahe-Duplikate werden direkt auf dem Gerät erkannt und nebeneinander gruppiert, damit du sie vergleichen kannst.
Persönlich teilen: Fotos auf Wunsch mit Rahmen, Aufnahmedatum und der seitdem vergangenen Zeit – Schriftart (auch Handschrift) und Farbe wählbar, mit Live-Vorschau.
Fortschritt im Blick: Bearbeitete Tage, gelöschte Aufnahmen und die geschätzte Dateigröße neu erfasster Löschungen. Der Fortschritt wird über dein iCloud-Konto zwischen deinen Geräten synchronisiert.
Tägliche Erinnerung: Optional erinnert dich die App jeden Tag; das App-Symbol zeigt die Tage seit dem letzten Abschluss.
Vollbild & Video: Fotos mit Pinch- und Doppeltipp-Zoom, Videos mit Vorschaubild und Wiedergabe.

One day, every year: photos and videos taken on the same calendar day across all years in one list – with how long ago and the capture time.
Overview with mosaics: today, the last few days and three upcoming days as cards with small previews and counts. The look-back expands to up to 365 days.
Sort with a swipe: swipe left to mark an item for deletion, right to share it. You review and confirm your selection before anything is deleted.
Spot look-alikes: bursts and near-duplicates are detected on-device and grouped side by side so you can compare them.
Share with a personal touch: optional frame with the original date and the years that have passed – choose font (including handwriting) and text color, with a live preview.
Track your progress: completed days, deleted items and the estimated file size of newly recorded deletions. Progress syncs across your devices through your iCloud account.
Daily reminder: an optional daily nudge; the app icon badge shows the days since your last completed day.
Full screen & video: photos with pinch and double-tap zoom, videos with a poster frame and playback.

Voraussetzungen Requirements

iPhone mit iOS 17 oder neuer.
Zugriff auf die Fotomediathek – wahlweise vollständig oder nur auf ausgewählte Aufnahmen.
Gelöschte Aufnahmen landen zunächst in „Zuletzt gelöscht“ in Apple Fotos und lassen sich dort 30 Tage lang wiederherstellen.

One Day After Another sammelt keine personenbezogenen Daten und sendet keine Daten an uns oder Dritte. Es gibt kein Benutzerkonto, kein Tracking, keine Werbung und keine Analyse-Tools. Die App betreibt keine eigenen Server; deine Fotos und Videos bleiben auf deinem Gerät.

Welche Daten verarbeitet die App?

Fotomediathek: Mit deiner Erlaubnis liest die App Fotos und Videos samt Aufnahmedatum, um die Aufnahmen eines Kalendertags anzuzeigen. Auch eine eingeschränkte Auswahl („ausgewählte Fotos“) wird unterstützt. Aufnahmen werden nur gelöscht, wenn du sie markiert und die Löschung ausdrücklich bestätigt hast; sie landen zunächst in „Zuletzt gelöscht“.
Ähnlichkeitserkennung: Serienbilder und Beinahe-Duplikate werden mit Apples Vision-Framework ausschließlich lokal auf dem Gerät erkannt. Es werden dafür keine Bilder übertragen.
Dateigrößen: Vor einer bestätigten Löschung ermittelt die App die Größe der betroffenen Aufnahmen, um deinen Fortschritt zu beziffern. Dabei werden keine iCloud-Downloads ausgelöst.
Teilen: Beim Teilen wird das Foto – auf Wunsch mit Rahmen und Datum – über das Teilen-Menü von iOS an die von dir gewählte App übergeben. Was dort geschieht, liegt außerhalb unserer Kontrolle.
Einstellungen: Rahmen, Schriftart, Schriftfarbe und Erinnerungsoption werden lokal auf dem Gerät gespeichert.

iCloud-Synchronisierung

Wenn du in iCloud angemeldet bist, wird dein Fortschritt – bearbeitete Tage, Anzahl und geschätzte Größe gelöschter Aufnahmen sowie Formatstatistiken – über Apple iCloud (CloudKit) zwischen deinen Geräten synchronisiert. Dabei werden keine Fotos, Videos oder Foto-Kennungen übertragen. Die Speicherung erfolgt in deiner privaten iCloud-Datenbank; wir haben darauf keinen Zugriff. Die Verarbeitung durch Apple unterliegt der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple. Der Fortschritt wird pro iCloud-Konto getrennt gehalten.

Mitteilungen

Die tägliche Erinnerung ist standardmäßig aus. Aktivierst du sie, plant die App lokale Mitteilungen auf deinem Gerät; es wird kein Push-Dienst und kein Server genutzt. Die Berechtigung kannst du jederzeit in den iOS-Einstellungen widerrufen.

Was wir NICHT tun

Keine Benutzerkonten, kein Login.
Keine Analyse-, Tracking- oder Werbe-Tools.
Keine Weitergabe an Dritte.
Keine eigenen Server – kein Backend, das deine Daten empfängt.

Berechtigungen

Fotomediathek – um die Aufnahmen eines Tages anzuzeigen und auf Wunsch zu löschen.
Mitteilungen (optional) – für die tägliche Erinnerung und das Badge am App-Symbol.

Löschung

Beim Entfernen der App werden alle lokal gespeicherten Daten (Einstellungen und Fortschritt) gelöscht. In iCloud abgelegte Fortschrittsdaten verwaltest du über deine iCloud-Einstellungen. Deine Fotos sind davon nicht betroffen; über die App gelöschte Aufnahmen findest du 30 Tage lang unter „Zuletzt gelöscht“ in Apple Fotos.

Kinder

Die App richtet sich nicht gezielt an Kinder und erhebt wissentlich keine Daten von Kindern.

Änderungen

Wir können diese Erklärung anpassen. Die jeweils aktuelle Fassung ist auf dieser Seite mit Datum verfügbar.

One Day After Another collects no personal data and sends no data to us or any third party. There is no user account, no tracking, no advertising and no analytics. The app runs no servers of its own; your photos and videos stay on your device.

What data does the app process?

Photo library: with your permission, the app reads photos and videos along with their capture date to show the items of a calendar day. Limited library selection is supported. Items are only deleted after you have marked them and explicitly confirmed the deletion; they first move to “Recently Deleted”.
Similarity detection: bursts and near-duplicates are detected with Apple's Vision framework entirely on your device. No images are transmitted for this.
File sizes: before a confirmed deletion, the app measures the size of the affected items to quantify your progress. This never triggers iCloud downloads.
Sharing: when you share a photo – optionally with a frame and date – it is handed to the app you choose via the iOS share sheet. What happens there is outside our control.
Settings: frame, font, text color and the reminder option are stored locally on the device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, your progress – completed days, the number and estimated size of deleted items and format statistics – is synced across your devices via Apple iCloud (CloudKit). No photos, videos or photo identifiers are transmitted. The data is stored in your private iCloud database; we have no access to it. Apple's processing is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Progress is kept separately per iCloud account.

Notifications

The daily reminder is off by default. If you turn it on, the app schedules local notifications on your device; no push service and no server are involved. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings.

What we do NOT do

No user accounts, no login.
No analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
No sharing with third parties.
No servers of our own – no backend that receives your data.

Permissions

Photo library – to show the items of a day and delete them if you choose.
Notifications (optional) – for the daily reminder and the app icon badge.

Deletion

Removing the app deletes all locally stored data (settings and progress). Progress stored in iCloud is managed via your iCloud settings. Your photos are not affected; items deleted through the app remain in “Recently Deleted” in Apple Photos for 30 days.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page with its date.
